Over these last few years of hauling away numerous items we have come to realize that every item, no matter how seemingly insignificant, tells a story. There were the loads of cardboard boxes telling the story of an impending arrival of a new little life. The story of children growing and leaving the nest as told by their storage containers. The hot tub, taken apart piece by piece, that told of the story of a family whose whole history was in this house. The piles of old blankets left by a friend who was going through a rough time. Or the tack trunk that told of a father’s love for his daughter. Each item filled with memories or dreams yet to be realized.
